Marine Science
The Dolphin Project partners with other marine science institutions such as Savannah State University. In 2015, TDP collaborated with Kate Doyle of SSU to present a poster research report at the South East And Mid-Atlantic Marine Mammal Symposium (SEAMAMMS) at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. TDP looks forward to future collaborations with SSU as well as independent research presentations. SEAMAMMS is a regional student- oriented marine mammal meeting. Preference is given to marine mammal research conducted in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast US or conducted by sudents in the same region. The Society of Marine Mammology is an international biennial conference. They will join together with the European Cetacean Society (ECS) on December 9-12, 2019 for the 2nd World Marine Mammal Science Confernece to be held in Barcelona, Spain.
